Here, you’ll find materials designed to assist with navigating challenges in the field, including “A Brief Guide: Dealing with Anti-Trans Disinformation and Intimidation”, as well as clinical guidelines and other essential tools.

We’ve also embedded our YouTube channel, where you can watch recordings of past CPD talks. While these recordings are available to all, CPD points can only be earned by becoming a member and attending the live sessions.

The Professional Association for Transgender Health South Africa (PATHSA) is an interdisciplinary health professional organisation working to promote the health, wellbeing and self-actualisation of trans and gender diverse people.

This is a recording of the PATHSA CPD meeting on Tuesday, 27 February 2024 Speaker: Liesl Theron Liesl Theron is a feminist, freelance consultant and researcher. Activist since 2005, co-founded and became the inaugural Executive Director of Gender DynamiX, the first South African (and African) registered organization focussing on trans advocacy (2005 – 2014). Liesl was the consultant for the International Trans Fund supporting their institutionalising and emergence. Other consultancies include organisational support to the Caribbean Trans Network, and ongoing support to Gender DynamiX and S.H.E. in South Africa.
